StayLok is an independent rental marketplace built for one region and done properly: the Chandigarh Tricity — Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, and Zirakpur. We connect students and young professionals looking for paying-guest rooms, hostels, flats, and single rooms directly with the owners of those homes.

The name of the game is removing friction that shouldn't exist. Traditional brokers charge up to a month's rent to show you listings you could have found yourself. On StayLok, tenants pay zero brokerage — ever. You search free, shortlist favorites, compare properties side by side, chat with the actual owner over end-to-end-encrypted messaging, and book with rent and deposit terms shown up front.

Who we serve

• Tenants: students and early-career professionals hunting for verified PGs, hostel beds, flats, and rooms near campuses and employment hubs across all four Tricity cities.
• Owners: landlords and co-living operators who list for free, manage bookings from a dashboard, and can upgrade to Pro or Premium tiers for promoted placement and analytics.

How the business works

Tenant search, comparison, favorites, and owner chat are free. Owners list free too. Revenue comes from optional owner subscriptions — Pro and Premium tiers that promote listings and surface tenant leads — never from tenant-side fees. If a listing looks too good to be true, our verification review process is where it gets caught before it earns a badge.

Where we operate

Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, and Zirakpur — long-stay residential stays only. No hotels, no commercial property, no sales. Staying focused on one region is how we keep listing quality high enough to trust.
